We had the most average week of my life, lol. Literally almost nothing eventful happened so we'll see how this email goes
We met a new lady, her name is Patricia. She has a Masters in theology and knows a ton about a bunch of religions. She told us the one she hasn't learned about is the "Mormons", lol. That's always so funny when people call us that. Anyway, she had like her note pad out and taking a bunch of notes. It was a super long lesson, we literally taught almost all the Restoration and Plan of Salvation in that first lesson, it was crazy. She's super interested and we kinda mentioned baptism and she seemed down for it!!! She even came to Stake Conference this last Sunday and she really liked it. We originally thought after the first lesson that she was just here for the info, but now we think she is really interested. Also at Stake Conference, every talk was about temples, and after she came up to us and goes, "I got some questions", so yeah lol, we are gonna be answering those real soon. She's been progressing and keeping commitments which is dope!!!
- Exchange -
Elder Rincon and I had an exchange on Monday yesterday, and it was great!! We did so much biking, we didn't get a single ride from the other elders with the truck which is how it normally goes. So we were flying everywhere on our bikes. We had a lesson with a recent convert, and his mom happened to be there too. He isn't a member. Then I finally got to meet Alex.... And he's goated. He races motorcycles which is so sick!!! Literally he is so sick, he's from Colombia and has a Suzuki 750. We told us to race him to the gas station for a bite to eat.... We definitely won (we lost). He bought us some snacks and we were just in the parking lot. He said he had a race the other day and took 2nd out of 27. I snagged a pic with him before we left.
- Transfers -
We got transfer info babyyyyy. So the plan is that Elder Rincon is headed to be Zone Leader, and I'm getting a new Elder, Elder Medina. He's going to be the New District Leader so I'm back to being District Monkey. I'm excited tho, I'm staying in the same area which means I'm giving a talk this Sunday, which I'm not excited for, lol. But it's all good, just adding to the grind.
Today for P-Day we played a bunch of basketball and just hung out. Then the Spanish Elders had a lunch thing with a member, so we went to that, and it was super good. They took us to a Mexican restaurant and the food was so good!! We just talked and had food. Then we headed to the Drive Shack, which is basically just Top Golf. We had a ton of fun and I hit the back wall. After that we just headed back home and now we are just chillin' and I'm writing my email.
I'm about out of time so ima go ahead and peace. I hope everything is going great!!! I'll catch a next week
