How's it going everyone!! Had a pretty good week this week.
Elizabeth:
We were not able to visit with them unfortunately because she was sick this last week. But she did end up coming to church with her husband Caesar and the whole family which was great!! I had the opportunity to translate which was awesome!! And then the second hour of Sunday School went amazing, Elizabeth and Caesar were reading out loud, answering questions, and overall a very spiritual experience talking about Christ with the few Spanish members we have in this Ward, lol. I talked with the kids after and they seemed to really enjoy primary, which is another plus.
So sorry I don't have a lot of time but I love these famous words by Christ before he passes on the cross. After being beaten, spit on, cursed, whipped, made fun of, and so many horrible things happened, and then is forced to carry a cross, have nails driven through his hands and his wrists. Despite it all, he has so much love for them that he says in his final moments to the Father, "forgive them; for they know not what they do."
We need to strive to be as Christ-like as we can, love one another, put Christ in the center of our lives, and do all we can to strive to be better.
Sorry this was short, but I gotta get going, I'll send a better one next week.
Elder Harbertson
